VISITING THE SICK AND DYING

If you or a loved one is ill, unable to attend Mass and/or facing surgery, we encourage you to take advantage of the Sacrament of the Sick which we all know has the power to bring healing to the soul and body.  This is a ministry which we happily offer you.  Simply call the rectory and make a request.  So often we hear people say: “You are too busy!”  While we may be busy, we are never too busy to accompany someone through a time of illness.  Our Church offers hope, comfort, and spiritual support that can lighten the burden accompanying illness.  Most especially, if someone is terminally ill, please make this request.  To pray with one who is on their journey home is indeed a privilege.
